Michael Sobie's Rocket Man Experience is a fresh homage to Elton John, available with instrumentation ranging from piano/vocal solo to piano/vocal solo with complete symphony orchestra and chorus.
To create Michael Sobie's Rocket Man: A Dynamic Orchestral Experience, Michael spent over 1,000 hours crafting his own arrangements and arrangements paying tribute the iconic catalogue of Elton John and Bernie Taupin. Then titled Rocket Man: A Live Orchestral Experience, the show premiered at St. Monca Catholic Church in May of 2024, performed by some of LA's top musicians and close personal friends of Michael.
Michael Sobie's Rocket Man Experience can be performed in any number of venues due to its modular, scalable nature in terms of time and instrumentation. Please click here for show costs, technical requirements, and additional information.
Truly a celebration of some of the best pop music of the 20th and 21st century, this concert is best summed up by renowned pianist and music director Michael Orland, who referred to the show as "A love letter to Elton John."
